Baby is: 14 1/2 inches and 2 pounds (size of a roast or head of cauliflower)
***Baby's lungs and immune system are maturing this week
***Eyelids can now open and the eyes have color!
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks all. the. time. No joke. Sunday night I was getting them every few minutes. The Dr. assured me it was normal and fine. My lower back hurts real bad these days, leg cramps, RIBS HURT, and the normal headaches- and out of nowhere just pure exhaustion. This making a human thing is hard work! :) He is kicking me like crazy as of late- I can see it from the outside now which I LOVE!
Weight Gain: Dr. said I am officially up NINE pounds from the beginning of this pregnancy- I am pretty sure I gained it ALL on vacation...lol. No problem with this anymore :)
Sleep: My sister let me borrow her pregnancy pillow. This thing works wonders on keeping me off my back. I have to take half a unisom at night to get restful sleep- but I get it now with that and the pillow. :)
This week My goals: To finish registry! Get my hubby to start painting the room :)
My Dr. Appt yesterday went really good! I see him again in 3 weeks and after that every TWO weeks! Means it's getting closer to the finish line. No news on the glucose test yet but I will say it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be from some nightmare stories. Seriously not bad at all. Glad it's over though :)
What I am looking forward too:
***Hearing my results from the glucose test
*** Seeing my little boy on ultrasound again next Tuesday. I am lame and paying another $45 to go to an ultrasound place. :) My Dr has me down for ONE more at 32 weeks. :) So two more times and than I get to meet him for reals!
***And since house cleaning is NOT getting done these days- I FINALLY hired a housekeeper! She is coming this Saturday and I couldn't be more thrilled (Thank you for the referral Bailey) I will enjoy not mopping the floors and cleaning the toilets!
Also- the room is coming along real nicley! Jonny put together the crib, mobile, and bedding! If you look closely you can see my dog Lexi hiding under the crib- her little black nose is barley sticking out- I think she already is jealous...lol
And a few things on my wish list from Etsy...SO CUTE!!!
I need to stay off the computer all together- too many cute things to buy...
I can't believe you are almost in third tri!!! So exciting :) I love the nursery so far. I can't wait to see more. I'm glad to hear you are getting good sleep. My body pillow helps a little, but I still wake up on my back a lot.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the 3rd trimester :) I shall join you there this week! The room is so adorable!! Glad everything is going great
ReplyDeleteEverything is coming together Britt Britt and so flippen cute! Your going to have the cutest nursery ever!!
ReplyDeleteJust 13 more weeks until Declan is here... I can't believe it! I can only imagine how amazing the 3rd trimester feels, well, aside from all the pain you're in. It's so crazy how us pregnant people feel like pregnancy goes by slow, and we look back, and wonder where the time went! That crib is adorable!! I know what you mean about needing to stay offline, I'm addicted to online shopping, and now that I have a little girl on the way, it's gotten really bad!
ReplyDeleteI just love all the pictures! So exciting!!
